Board and Staff

The board that governs ETV is elected by the current members. Elections are typically held during our December board meeting / holiday party, and board members serve a two year term. ETV board meetings are open to members, producers, and the general public. Meetings are held monthly at our Main Street studio.

Board Chair

Jay Miles

The former video/media instructor at East Haven High School, Miles brings over 20 years of professional experience in video/tv production to the ETV family. He is the author of the video "how to" book Conquering YouTube, and continues to produce and direct video as an independent freelancer.

Treasurer

Nick Maniscalco

A graduate of EHHS in 2016 and continued his education at Quinnipiac University where he earned a Masters Degree in accounting. Nick is currently a senior financial accountant with Yale New Haven Health System. Before taking the Treasurer position he served as a videographer and the bookkeeper. He also is a broadcaster/camera operator for East Haven Varsity Hockey.

Mark Andrews

Mark brings his vast range of experiences to the ETV board. As both a seasoned veteran of video production for a wide array of clients, and as a respected college-level instructor in digital media, Mark's breadth of experience and knowledge is a huge asset to our team.

Board Vice-Chair

Deb Donofrio

A former media student turned IT Professional, Deb began as a producer/videographer for ETV. Her first appearance was as a guest on the talk show “A View from East Haven” along with her adopted chihuahua, Zorro. She has produced programs for the Hagaman Library and other town events. She continues to create video footage and shares her technical and social media expertise while serving on the Board.

Board Member

Dave Hausler

Dave lived in East Haven for 25 years with his wife, Doreen, and family.  He has worked in IT for a variety of companies in the health care and financial services industries. He served the town for two terms as a member of the School Building Committee, and as a member of the 200 Tyler Street Committee. He and Doreen are long-standing members of local Boy Scout Troop 401.

Do you or someone you know have a passion for media and serving the community? ETV is currently looking for board members! Our board is elected by our members and is actively involved in all our events, functions, fundraising, marketing, and more. If you have skills that you want to share with our budding Community Media Center please email inquiries to: info@easthaven.tv

Former members of the ETV Board include Bob Petrucelli, Lisa Marie Pepe, Stephen Austin, Jim Dougherty, Jan Alea Lougal, Wayne Sanford, Barbara Corso, Michael Albis, Ray Smith, Louis Pane, Earl Horton, Eddie Sabatino, and John Ermer among others. We thank them all for their service and contributions!

Frank is an alumni of Southern Connecticut State University’s Film, Television, and Digital Production degree program. He has been creating media since a very young age. Frank’s two biggest projects outside of ETV are his music, which he releases under the name The Midnight Marauder, as well as being the founder and creator of the YouTube show Southern Connecticut Paranormal. He has been freelancing with ETV since late 2022 and has since found his niche to be directing multicam shoots for the station.

Station Manager

Connor Thornberg

Connor is an alumnus of the East Haven High School where they served as Media Club President and helped to produce a number of student films. They also have a bachelor's degree in Interactive Media and Game Development from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and have worked at various jobs involving A/V equipment, media production, and technology installation for the last 8 years. Connor continues to work on a number of independent artistic projects including YouTube videos and comic writing.

Accountant

Debbie Maguire

Debbie Maguire is the bookkeeper for East Haven Public Television. She has a degree in accounting and over 25 years of accounting experience. She is also the Vice President of the Friends of Hagaman Memorial Library in East Haven.

Community Coordinator

Noelle Veillette

Noelle graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2022 with a BA in English. Before joining ETV, she reported for a newspaper, volunteered as an EMT, taught piano, music directed, and handled the pandemic with an array of work in education and retail. As a lifelong creative, Noelle is relishing learning the ins-and-outs of media tech at the studio and getting to know her new neighbors through her work as community coordinator.

Assistant Station Manager

Dom Manna

Dom graduated from EHHS back in 2017 taking his passion for sports to his studies at Curry College where he hosted an IBS award-nominated Radio Program. After completing his Bachelor's in Communication in 2021, he joined ETV as a freelancer in 2022. Dom continues his sports broadcasting with his Major League Baseball podcast Solo Shot Sports which records live from ETV's podcast station weekly.

CH 19 Station Manager

Rob Becker

Rob has been filming high school events since 1994 when he attended the school, and has received several awards for outstanding productions in PEG programming. He also was the station manager for ETV 1998-2001. He then became the Broadcast Supervisor for YJTV at EHHS and has held the position since 2005. Rob has been the East Haven Public Schools Technology Specialist since 1999. He has a BS in Communication from Eastern Connecticut State University, class of 2009, and has been serving on the Cable Advisory Council representing East Haven from 2018 to present.

Multicam Director

Frank Albano
